About IslandHop
Connecting travelers with authentic Caribbean experiences since 2018
Our Story
IslandHop was born out of a passion for the Caribbean and a desire to showcase the incredible diversity of experiences these islands have to offer beyond the typical resort vacation.
Founded in 2018 by Sarah Johnson, a former travel journalist who spent years exploring the hidden gems of the Caribbean, IslandHop started as a simple blog sharing authentic local experiences. It quickly grew into a comprehensive platform connecting travelers with carefully curated activities, accommodations, and local guides.
Today, we're proud to be the leading platform for discovering and booking unique Caribbean experiences, with a network of over 100 local partners across more than 20 islands. Our mission remains the same: to help travelers experience the true essence of the Caribbean while supporting local communities and sustainable tourism practices.
