Start your day by visiting the street where Rihanna lived and see the exterior of the house she inhabited. Head to the East Coast of Barbados. Stop at Cherry Tree Hill, which offers breathtaking views of the East Coast. Continue to the Morgan Lewis Windmill, which is among the top 100 most endangered historical sites in the world. Descending to the coast, cross Cattlewash and stop at Bathsheba, named for its great beauty. Visit the site of the Soup Bowl, a favorite stop for Barbados' surfers. Your next stop will be St. John's Church, one of the oldest on the island, situated on a cliff with spectacular views. From this Gothic church, you'll pass through the parish of St. George, go past the Gun Hill Signal Station and the great white lion, and head to the Garrison Historic Area. The British built the first garrison in the West Indies at St. Ann's Fort in 1705. The garrison, which served as the regional headquarters for the British Navy, quickly expanded to include barracks and a parade ground. For over a century, it was the largest British colonial garrison. The garrison holds special importance for the people of Barbados, as it was here that the independent nation's flag was unfurled on November 30, 1966. On the way back to the port, pass through the capital, Bridgetown, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. While we understand your situation and strive to offer the greatest possible comfort, our island's roads can be bumpy and winding. We must also ensure the well-being of all our guests and the cleanliness of the vehicle. If you become ill on board, you will need to reimburse the driver, before the end of the tour, for cleaning fees ranging from 75 to 150 US dollars. Thank you for your understanding.
