Visit the St Nicholas Abbey sugar plantation, distillery, and heritage railway and step back in time at one of Barbados' most historic attractions. Spend an afternoon at the Abbey. St Nicholas Abbey is one of the Caribbean's premier attractions. The Plantation House is probably the last authentic 17th-century house in existence in the 'New World.' The Plantation produces award-winning rum and is always delighted to offer you a sample. You will also check in at the station and board the heritage train. Step back in time as you board the restored steam locomotive at the station and make a round trip to Cherry Tree Hill... All aboard! If you suffer from motion sickness, we recommend taking precautions before the tour begins. If you get sick on board, you will have to reimburse the driver, before the end of the tour, for cleaning costs, amounting to between 75 and 150 US dollars. Thank you for your understanding.
