Hike at Dunn's River Falls, visit the birthplace and final resting place of Bob Marley, and take an optional evening cruise on the lagoon that glows! With this excursion, instead of taking 3 days of vacation to see all these popular Jamaican attractions, you can visit them all in just 1 day. Climb the Dunn's River Falls. With the help of your guide, you will climb 600 feet to the top of this beautiful waterfall stepped like a wedding cake. Stop for a swim in the refreshing rock pools. With the help of the guide, it's an easy climb that everyone can enjoy. After the falls, you will take a tour of the town of Ocho Rios with a stop to buy souvenirs and to enjoy a typical Jamaican lunch. Then, you will drive through small commercial towns and hills to 9 Mile, the birthplace and final resting place of reggae superstar Bob Marley. Hear the story of his childhood and his rise to fame. Option Cruise and dinner in the bioluminescent lagoon. Returning towards the coast, you will stop at the Joe James restaurant and art gallery. Admire Mr. James's works and sit down for a Jamaican family dinner (included). End your excursion with a visit to the Luminous Lagoon, inhabited by microscopic organisms that emit a phosphorescent light when the water is agitated. Shortly after sunset, you will board a boat that will take you across the lagoon. When the water is agitated, you will see the water light up behind the boat. Stop to enjoy a swim and watch your body glow. This luminous phenomenon is only visible in 3 places on the planet. Please bring swimsuits and towels. Rubber-soled shoes or water socks are required for climbing the falls (available for purchase).
