Here is an adventure-filled experience departing from Punta Cana. This off-road buggy excursion, with a traditional Taino ceremony and a swim in underground pools, promises an adrenaline-filled evening. Juan, one of our local guides, explains: "caves and cenotes played a major role in the indigenous Taino culture. Even though they are so tempting with their cool aquamarine-colored water, the Taino people never bathed in the cenotes or used their water, as they believed they were a gateway to the underworld". An evening Dominican meal with an open bar, followed by live music, is also on the program. You start your action-packed evening by crossing the Dominican countryside on dirt tracks until nightfall. Guided by torchlight, you will continue your adventure to swim in the natural pool of a typical cave called a cenote, with atmospheric lighting. With flames lighting your way, you will return to camp. A delicious local cuisine meal awaits you there, accompanied by drinks. The evening ends under the stars with a traditional Taino dance performance. Take the opportunity to join the dances and head to the open bar. What is the itinerary for this experience?
