Experience the premier Everglades and alligator adventure in South Florida. Take an educational and exciting airboat tour of the national park and watch a wildlife show to see a baby alligator. Discover Everglades National Park, a diverse landscape that provides essential habitat for many rare and endangered species. Take an airboat ride and spot alligators, turtles and even the elusive Florida panther. After paying the park entrance fee, immerse yourself in the marshes often called the "River of Grass". The park is known by this name because of the endless sawgrass prairies that rise three to ten feet above the water's surface. Encounter lush Everglades vegetation, which also includes mangroves, cypress, palms, pines and hardwood hammocks (small islands). Sawgrass is often so dense that travel is only possible using natural water passages. Board an airboat, designed to operate in shallow water and marshes. Powered by an aircraft-type propeller and fueled by an aircraft or automobile engine, this boat is a fast and fun way to get around. Complete your visit with a wildlife and alligator show. Get up close to these remarkable creatures in their natural habitat. Departures occur every 20 to 30 minutes throughout the day, rain or shine. The last wildlife show is at 4:30 PM and the last airboat tour is at 5:00 PM. The national park entrance fee of $8 per person (free for children under 16, seniors, and NPS pass holders) is not included. You are welcome anytime during business hours. Our address is 24050 SW 8th Street Miami, Gator Park Airboat Tours, an authorized concession of Everglades National Park.
