Walk along the bustling Calle Ocho and discover the neighborhood's cuisine and culture in depth. Meet outside the Tower Theater, next to Domino Park. Walk along Miami's famous Calle Ocho and discover the neighborhood's rich history and culture, tasting Cuban recipes passed down through generations. Taste delicious Mariquitas and Malanga Frita and discover the stories behind the food by visiting a variety of family restaurants popular with locals. Taste plantain cups stuffed with chicken and picadillo, and refresh your taste buds with a juice of guarapo in a family fruteria. Sit down and sip a cafecito Cubano, prepared by an excellent local barista. You can also taste the Cuban version of the mojito in a very lively local bar. During the tour, take a break for your taste buds by visiting other points of interest. Stop at a cigar factory and watch the master rollers at work. Stroll through El Callejon del Gallo, an alley featuring the latest local street art. The activity takes place rain or shine. The tastings are sufficient for a full lunch.
