Visit the birthplace and final resting place of reggae legend Bob Marley on a guided day trip from Montego Bay. Start with a scenic drive through the Jamaican countryside, discovering the vibrant landscape that inspired the reggae legend. Once in Nine Mile, explore the picturesque village and visit the mausoleum where Bob Marley rests. Learn about his life, musical inspirations, and Rastafarian culture. This visit promises to be an educational and stimulating experience. You will be picked up from your Montego Bay hotel in an air-conditioned minibus or bus. On the way to Nine Mile, you will pass Rose Hall Great House (an 18th-century plantation house) which once belonged to the infamous plantation owner Annie Palmer, the White Witch of Rose Hall. Hear the story of her gruesome death and the reasons why the house is still hanté today. Pass by Greenwood Great House, a plantation house built in the early 18th century. Admire the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the house perched on the hill and discover its rich history and architecture. In Nine Mile, a Rastafarian guide will show you Bob Marley's childhood home, Mt. Zion, the Ethiopian church where he was buried, and his final resting place. You will also have time to browse the on-site gift shop. Your tour ends with a return to your hotel in Montego Bay. Pickup is available from most Montego Bay hotels.
