Get behind the wheel of our new 2024 CF Moto ATV and discover the city and beaches from a unique perspective. Explore Nassau the right way, with an experienced guide. During this comprehensive and fun tour, you'll discover the natural beauty of Nassau, the vibrant energy, and the local flavor found only here. Your experienced local driver will guide you on a route covering many important historical and cultural sites. The tour will begin at the Rum Cake Factory, where you'll have the chance to sample the six flavors made at the factory. Next, the Queen's Staircase, a 65-step staircase 1.5 meters long, carved out of solid limestone by slaves in 1793, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. In the 1800s, the steps were named in honor of Queen Victoria for her role in ending slavery in the British Empire. The Water Tower is located right next door. You'll visit the famous tea shop, Tasty Teas, founded by a mother and son. All the different teas are made from organic Bahamian herbs, fruits, and spices. You'll then pass by Government House, the official residence of the Governor General of the Bahamas. Painted a pretty conch pink characteristic of the Bahamas, it is considered one of the finest examples of Georgian colonial architecture in the islands. The massive Fort Charlotte, spanning over 100 acres, is another reminder of the city's past. Built between 1787 and 1790 to protect the west side of the harbor against attacks, the fort is located on a hill overlooking Arawak Cay and offers great views of Nassau Harbor. Arawak Cay is the next stop on our historical exploration of Nassau. Named after the island's first West Indian inhabitants, Arawak Cay was built from sand dredged during the construction of Nassau Harbor. This lively street in the heart of the city is known for its live music and Bahamian restaurants and bars offering authentic food and drinks, each with its own twist. Head your ATV to the Caves, a site believed to have been used by pirates in the late 1600s and early 1700s, but which now houses much friendlier fruit bats. Walk down the stone stairs and let your imagination envision how pirates used them to store their rum barrels and ill-gotten gains. Then enjoy a local Bahamian lunch with a drink that will give you one last delicious taste of Nassau. Then take a beautiful ride along the outskirts and admire the sandy beaches of Clifton Pier and the Poinciana flowers that create an arch for you to ride under. The tour will end at the Shore to Shore location where local drinks will be waiting to refresh you.
