Experience our two ziplines: Sentry Hill, which takes you over the mountain ridge, and the steepest line in the world: the Flying Dutchman! Consisting of two lifts, the Sky Explorer takes you to the top of one of St. Maarten's highest peaks, while the landscape unfolds beneath your feet. Every adventure begins in this restored plantation house, originally built in the 1700s. The museum tells the powerful story of Trace Wilson, born a slave on the property in 1818, and her direct descendant Emilio Wilson. You will see depictions of plantation life and discover the customs, traditions, lifestyle and stories that earned St. Maarten the nickname 'The Friendly Island'. After an orientation session at the transfer station, you will put on your safety equipment and harness for the Sentry Hill zipline flight over the mountain ridge. You will then board Lift 2 to the top of Sentry Hill; a brief orientation will prepare you to descend the mountain on the steepest zipline in the world, The Flying Dutchman. You will be strapped into a flight line in a securely harnessed chair, launching yourself on a 1050-foot elevation drop over 2800 feet for the experience of a lifetime. To complete your adventure, take a final trip aboard the Sky Explorer and admire the panorama of the beautiful Emilio Wilson Estate unfolding before you as you glide over the mountain to the base area. After your adventure, you can purchase souvenirs, attractions and photos in the gift shop. Emilio's restaurant, nestled between authentic old colonial walls, offers a menu of classic dishes with a new twist. You can purchase food and drinks there. Sentry Hill and Flying Dutchman Restrictions: Height: minimum 52 - maximum 80 inches. Weight: minimum 36 kg (80 lbs) - maximum 125 kg (275 lbs). All children must be accompanied by an adult. Transfer is not included, a taxi can take you to our Rainforest Adventures park, Rockland State.
