The museum tells the powerful story of Trace Wilson, born into slavery on the property in 1818, and her direct descendant Emilio Wilson. You will see depictions of plantation life and discover the customs, traditions, lifestyle, and stories that earned Saint Martin the nickname "The Friendly Island." Board the Sky Explorer for an approximately 25-minute ride to the top of Sentry Hill, one of the highest elevations in Saint Martin, at 1,125 feet. The experience includes two chairlifts and a series of platforms that encircle the mountain top and offer 360-degree views of the island, including neighboring islands of Saba, Saint Eustatius, Saint-Barthélemy, and Anguilla. A brief orientation will prepare you to descend the mountain on the Flying Dutchman, the world's steepest zipline! You'll be strapped into a flight line in a secure and harnessed chair, launching on a 1,050-foot elevation drop over 2,800 feet for the experience of a lifetime.
