
Immerse yourself in the history of the Cuban Revolution with this tour of Havana. Itinerary We will meet at 10:00 AM next to the statue of José Martí in Central Park. The tour begins with a walk towards the Bacardi building, where we will discuss its history after 1959. We will pass a vineyard and talk about food subsidies. We will also discover Operation Peter Pan, which allowed the transfer of 14,000 children from Cuba to the United States. We will then go to the Museum of the Revolution to see the yacht Granma, used by Fidel Castro for the Bay of Pigs invasion. After the museum, we will walk to the Spanish embassy and visit a nursery school to explore education in Cuba since the Revolution. The next stop will be the Havana Capitol. After admiring its architecture, we will take a public bus that will lead us to the Plaza de la Revolución, a 20-minute journey during which we will explain popular transport since the 1960s. Once there, we will see the iconic image of Che Guevara. The tour will end at 1:00 PM. Museum of the Revolution The tour does not include tickets for the Museum of the Revolution, the price of which is 10 Cuban pesos per person (approximately 9 euros).
