About Hampden Estate Distillery
One of the oldest rum distilleries in Jamaica, dating to 1753, and the world's foremost producer of high-ester pot still rums prized by connoisseurs and blenders from Scotland to Scandinavia. Set on a working sugarcane estate in Trelawny, tours reveal open-air wooden fermentation vats buzzing with wild yeast cultures, traditional copper pot stills, and spirit aging in tropical warehouses. Hampden's Rum Fire overproof and rare estate bottlings are available exclusively at the distillery.
