About This Experience

If you want to explore Cuban nature, get away from Havana and head for a two-day excursion to the Viñales Valley. Itinerary Day 1 At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your accommodation in Havana, and you will begin your two-day excursion to the Viñales Valley. This region was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. During the journey, you will pass several tobacco plantations, the star product of the valley, as this area is the main tobacco producer in Cuba. Once you arrive in Viñales, you will have the opportunity to observe the traditional method of rolling leaves to design the famous Cuban cigars. Would you like a little taste? You will then stop in front of the Mural de la Prehistoria, ranked among the largest murals in the world, featuring illustrations from the Jurassic period. After that, a lunch with a view of the valley awaits you: you will savor a local meal enhanced by folk music. Before concluding this first day, you will visit the Cueva del Indio, an amazing cave with mineral formations, where you will navigate an underground river by boat. Finally, we will take you to your accommodation, where you will spend the night. You will have a free afternoon to explore the surroundings, have dinner, and relax. Day 2 The next day, you will wake up early to enjoy a tasty breakfast while admiring the spectacular sunrise over the Viñales Valley. The view will undoubtedly be mesmerizing! To spice up your day, you will have the opportunity to try zip-lining, gliding at an impressive height of 400 meters above the valley. An unforgettable experience! After this adventure, you will go on a horseback ride in the heart of nature. You will gallop between the iconic mogotes of Viñales and the Valle del Silencio. To regain your strength, a typical lunch will be offered before returning to Havana. A break at the Mirador de los Jazmines is planned. Did you know it is nicknamed the balcony of Viñales? At the end of the day, we will take you back to your starting point, with an estimated arrival between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Accommodation The program includes one night in a "casa particular" located in the Viñales Valley. Pickup Pickup for the excursion to the Viñales Valley includes accommodations located in the beach and Vedado sectors. If your accommodation is located outside these areas, we will contact you after your reservation to define another meeting point. We can also pick you up from private addresses, provided you give us the address at the time of booking.
