About This Experience

This two-day excursion to Trinidad and Cienfuegos will allow you to leave Havana to explore two of Cuba's most captivating cities. You will spend a night in Trinidad, a true haven of Cuban culture. Itinerary Day 1: Havana - Trinidad Around 7:30 AM, we will pick you up at your hotel in Havana. You will be transported in a comfortable minibus to Trinidad, one of the best-preserved colonial cities in America. En route, a stop at the Zapata Swamp is planned to visit the crocodile farm. Then, you will continue to Playa Girón, where you will discover the Cueva de los Peces, a natural pool surrounded by tropical fauna, as well as the Bay of Pigs Invasion Museum, which displays objects from this historic battle. A lunch break (at your expense) is planned at a restaurant in Playa Girón. After regaining your strength, you will continue your journey to Trinidad, where you will stay in a traditional home of a local family, offering you a warm glimpse of Cuban hospitality. Day 2: Trinidad - Cienfuegos - Havana The second day will begin with a hearty breakfast served in your guesthouse. You will leave for an exploration of Trinidad at 8:00 AM, after gathering the necessary energy. With a guide expert in local history, you will spend three hours walking through the charming cobblestone streets and admiring iconic colonial buildings, such as the Church of San Francisco de Paula, the Church of San Francisco de Asís, and the Plaza Mayor. At 11:00 AM, you will return to your accommodation and at 12:00 PM, we will meet for the bus departure. Before returning to Havana, a visit to Cienfuegos, a city with French charm, will be organized. You will benefit from a three-hour guided tour, immersing you in the unique architecture of the city's palaces, domes, and promenades. To conclude your adventure, you will rejoin the minibus for the return journey to Havana, with an arrival scheduled for around 7:00 PM.
