Spend an evening on a boat in the bioluminescent bay of La Parguera departing from San Juan. Enjoy magnificent views during the cruise, swim around pristine bays, and see marine plankton illuminate. Upon arrival at La Parguera, stop for a quick appetizer at one of the diverse restaurants and bars. Board a private boat for a 25-minute ride through floating houses and mangrove cays as the sun sets. Once at the bay, your guide will explain everything you need to know about the dinoflagellate phenomenon. Experience this phenomenon firsthand when the disturbance of the water disturbs these microscopic creatures that emit a glowing light, creating an impressive and magical effect. The bay is a nature observation site. Spend approximately 30 minutes marveling at this strange and charming light show before returning to the dock. The dock visit will familiarize you with this phenomenon. Free car seats or booster seats are available. You are more than welcome to bring your own snorkeling equipment. Service animals are permitted. The total duration of the activity includes a 2 hour and 15 minute trip in each direction.
