Leave San Juan and join us for an excursion to the beautiful city of Loiza Pinones. Get ready to discover a new facet of Puerto Rico as you venture beyond the city limits. Known for its fried pastries, the city of Piñones is the perfect destination to discover the local atmosphere, music, cultural dance and delicious Afro-Puerto Rican cuisine. The tour begins at Roberto Clemente's house, where you can view photos of Loiza, artifacts left by the Taíno indigenous people and works inspired by African Puerto Rican art. Finally, we will take the promenade or horse trail to a local bar, where each guest will receive a shot of Puerto Rican rum and taste local food. Participants in our group will also benefit from special drink offers from a kiosk. Depending on the pace of the group and the day of the visit, we plan to stop at 3 to 5 places in Pinones, which includes a walk on the promenade and beach. Please bring a swimsuit and towel. (On weekends, there are many people in Pinones, which may limit the number of places visited.)
